Web

A new platform for building the property portfolio for a retail real estate agency owner allowed optimizing the search process, significantly reducing task time while lowering cognitive load and minimizing human error.

(01)

Overview

Liam, the owner of a real estate agency specializing in retail properties, approached for the development of a website to populate the agency's portfolio with properties based on specific criteria.

(02)

Challenge

Liam's pain point was the excessive time spent collecting property data from various sources, manually verifying it, and entering it into Google Sheets. He wanted to save time for more important tasks and needed a tool to verify results. The main service he previously used relied on broker-created listings, which were often exaggerated or misleading.

Process

I conducted design workshops with Liam and a BA specialist, gathering requirements, defining property selection criteria, and mapping out a detailed customer journey.

After that, I created a mid-fidelity prototype to test it live with Liam and gather his feedback, which informed the development of the final mockups.

Solution

The primary pain point for our exclusively Arab target audience is typical one-year commitment required for gym memberships. This often doesn't suit many individuals for various reasons: they may lose motivation, get bored,
or relocate. Our project faced challenges such as tight deadlines and the need to completely redesign and create a new design concept from scratch.

Impact

As a result, Liam received a product that, even at the MVP stage, significantly reduced the time spent gathering property data, minimized daily cognitive load, and enabled more informed decision-making, while providing pathways for future expansion if other agency staff start using the platform.
